The Story of David and His Hypnosis Works

David M. Pierce, CHt is an ACHE Certified Hypnotherapist, a member The Newton Institute for Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy (TNI), and certified in Spiritual Regression hypnotherapy by the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH), with Dr. Michael Newton (author of the best sellers "Journey of Souls" and "Destiny of Souls"). David received his training in traditional hypnotherapy from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute, at Corte Madera, California. He also holds a degree in psychology from the California Coast University at Santa Ana, California. David now lives in Paradise, California.

In 1974, David began his career of service with the emergency services as a firefighter, a paramedic, and as a communications specialist. By August of 1990, the accumulated toll of all that David had witnessed in the line of duty inspired him to seek a more proactive approach to health, healing, and wellness.

With this intent, David undertook a vision quest facilitated by Sedonia Cahill and Barton Stone of the Great Round. In the desert, he experienced a profound connection with the Mystery. It was as though there really is no separation; that the world and himself are but a thin veil floating upon the surface of something huge and mysterious – a faint and poignant song cradled in the wind. David brought with him a drum of his own making. It became a central figure on his vision journey.

Within three months of his return from the desert, David resigned his position as charge paramedic and created the Singing Drum Workshops, teaching drum-making and drumming as a tool in psycho-social-spiritual integration and transformation, in a series of workshops from coast to coast.

In the years after founding the Singing Drum workshops, David continued his emergency services work as an Emergency Medical Communications Specialist, and continued his personal exploration of the psyche, spirituality, and the nature of personal transformation. He earned a degree in psychology, completed certification as a hypnotherapist, became a Reiki II practitioner, served as a volunteer for Enloe Hospice, and broadened the scope of his workshops to incorporate elements of Shamanic trance work.

David's philosophy about his work with people:
"My life is a mysterious and sacred journey. I know that each person I meet is also on their own specific, intimate and sacred journey. It is my intent to be fully present with each person in a manner that is deeply respectful of their own distinctive life journey. I bring to this work, not only my education, but the fullness of my life experience, both triumphs and failures (which have often been more informative than when I "got it right")."

David Hypnosis

David once said, "Harness the strength and ability of both your conscious and sub-conscious mind…"

Self-hypnosis refers to the situation in which a person is giving the suggestions to himself or herself. These kinds of suggestions offered during hypnotherapy, or that you give yourself while listening to a guided audio experience, are designed to enable you to heal more rapidly, manage stress, improve your performance, change your behavior patterns, and become the person you most want to be. The suggestions influence your subconscious and as a result, they also alter the way you feel and deal with your life.

Our life is driven by two parts of mind: the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Generally speaking, the conscious mind is the "thinking" mind and the subconscious mind is the "feeling" mind. Willpower requires thinking and is sourced from the conscious mind. The problem with this, is that true, lasting change can only take place at the feeling, subconscious level.

When change happens at the subconscious level, it happens easily and naturally, eliminating the frustration and focus required when "trying" and "struggling" with conscious focused energy.

Hypnosis enables us to "rewrite" underlying "scripts" – ideas, illusions and beliefs that we have about ourselves in order to affect the programming within us in a positive way and achieve our goals. It is a natural state of relaxed focus that allows you to access that deep, inner part of you – your subconscious mind.

7 Ways to Find Inner Peace and Emotional Balance

Have you ever reached a point where you feel that you're headed toward an emotional drain? To be frank, everyone has had a similar feeling in one way or another. Your emotional state affects almost all your actions. When it comes to emotional balance, all aspects whether it is mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional, is interrelated in a way. To find inner peace, all these aspects must be equally important.

Find ways of preventing unstable emotional balance in your day and your life by seeking ways on the search for inner balance in life. Here are the seven ways to find inner peace and emotional balance.

Exercise Regularly

Did you know that involving yourself with exercises is one major way to find inner balance? Physical activity not only facilitates fat burning in the body but also detoxifies the heart and the mind. This enhances your mood and your health a great deal. Additional, it also helps you have better focus during the day.

Cast Your Burden to God

It is amazing how God makes us feel the happiness and joy in our heart when we dwell in His presence. Reading His words, empowers you to look forward to what plans wait for the day. Through the His word and prayers, God communicates to us, so it is important to find time to read the word every day. This will strengthen you since you are assured of a purposeful existence and as a result, you will find emotional balance and inner peace in your life.

Talk to Someone You Trust

One of the common mistakes many people make is keeping things that sabotage their inner peace to themselves. This makes them feel lonely, and it can lead to a severe emotional crash. The majority of the people who have shared their experiences with either their friends or a close family member can testify that the saying that goes; a problem shared is half solved, is true. You may not get a solution to your problem, but you get to be relieved of stress. You may learn that other people are passing through difficult times worse than yours and this may help you stay positive.

Try Meditation

Meditation is a technique that allows you to reflect on your ways of life and think through notions from the least to the greatest in order of importance. Therefore, you need to clear your mind up, view and weigh the things that are bothering you. Filter what goes into your mind and also what you feel. Meditation must not necessarily take a lot of time; it may even take as short as 5 minutes. The 5 minutes of contemplating on things help you find emotional balance in life once you feel upset or worried.

Make Peace with Yourself

This time round you is not making peace with your mind but your heart. Making peace with your heart enables you to spread that peace to your mind, soul, and body. If you've made a mistake, don't be too hard on yourself. Instead, forgive yourself and learn from your mistake and move on with life. Regret and self-pity will hinder you from finding inner balance and peace in life.

Get a Grip on Your Emotions

Something may have happened in the past that frustrated or angered you and whenever you remember you feel upset. It's normal to react, however you need to control your emotions at all cost. This will help you find emotional balance and inner peace.

Talk to a Therapist

Sometimes finding emotional balance on your own can be tough and when it reaches this point, you need to seek help from a psychologist who will help you deal with your unstable emotions. Talking to a therapist is commonly mistaken for weakness since you are seeking professional help – it is quite the opposite. Admitting that you need help is a bold step, and surely this is the first step to finding inner balance and peace.

Follow these ways and be sure that you will have a peaceful life. Visit The Unexplainable Store and get the "Inner Balance" brainwave recording to relish a fantastic peace.
