How to Overcome Your Fear of Public Speaking

☆Before the Speech-Get Prepared

Practice. This is so important! Practice out loud and practice in front of a mirror. If you have friends that you are comfortable reading in front of, practice with them.

Listen to speeches. Get on Youtube and listen to the speeches of others. Many of us learn visually and sometimes, the reason why we get so nervous when we have to speak publicly is because we are not sure if we are doing it right. Watch different speeches and learn how it is done.

Before your presentation, make sure you have everything ready. Being prepared means knowing who your audience is, remembering your message, arriving early to setup, bringing everything you need with you. When you know you have everything, you are confident.

☆During the Speech

Pause. Believe it or not, putting Short pauses in your presentation is one of the hallmarks of a skilled and good presenter. Using a pause, not long, 2-3 seconds is more than enough, between major points and questions gives you time to take a breath; you'll think better. And allow your listener to digest your strong messages and catch up and come along for the rest of the ride.

Smile. This is the most powerful non-verbal gesture. You can almost always smile, even in a serious speech. Your smile invites your audience to join your positive and happy energy. And this is a great way to cover your nervousness.

Body Language. In public speaking or a presentation, your body can be an effective tool for adding emphasis and clarity to your words. Positive body language signals can show confidence sincerity and even enthusiasm. Also, people can never know how you feel if you used the proper body language.

Remember that it’s normal to get nervous about public speaking. Slight nervous motivates you to prepare a

nd rehearse and you’ll be a more effective speaker. A totally relaxed speaker is unlikely to show passion. So don’t fight your nerves, control them, make friends with them, and use them to make you a better public speaker.

Better Yourself and Eliminate Regrets

Many of us often said “If Only…” these two words signal one of the biggest enemies residing within one’s psyche. When look back, thinking what we did wrong or not perfectly, we will wallow in the complacent mud-pool of self-pity, stop moving ahead with life. Such feelings of guilt and self-pity called regret.

Regrets is an emotion like any other. It's a state of mind that can be brought on by triggers. Many people lived with regrets so long, which become either burdens that interfere with their present happiness and restrict their future, or motivation to move forward. Everyone makes mistakes, and we all grow and better ourselves as a result, no one deserve to suffer indefinitely.

It is all the more important to get rid of such feelings of regret. Here are ways in which you can get rid of regretful feelings.

1. Talk About It. 
Your loved ones, family members, friends are there to help you overcome regrets and frustrations. They can understand problems more than you if your judgment is really clouded by your emotions. So when you feel regret, try to talk it to you loved ones, family, friends, do n

ot be alone and keep thinking.

2. Use The Opportunity To Lear More.
There’s a quote that reads “Success is often the result of taking a misstep in the right direction.” It is more important to learn a lesson from the mistake than falling into a shame cycle. For example, you are involved in a scam thinking it was a shortcut to success and blew through all your savings, you need to think of that there is no shortcut to success, but not sitting alone with regrets. Although you lost something, you learned lessons!

3.Accept The Reality.
You need to be aware of the fact that, no amount of regretting will change that fact. Cowards refuse to accept reality and mistakes. Be brave to admit your mistake, take responsibility, your tried your best, one must also remember that the time that is lost will not come back and that it is worthless to feel regret about it.

A little bit of regrets is normal, but live in the shadow of that will ruin your future. We all understand that regret, at times, is unbearable. But you can’t go back and change what has happened. Remember that anything you've done is totally forgivable, even though it may seem unforgivable to you. Forget the past, keeping your focus in the current moment, you deserve happiness, success and a brighter future!

The 7 Chakras #3

We will discuss the Third Eye and Crown Chakras which are responsible for some of the most beautiful aspects of humanity. But just as it is important to focus on these areas, you must remember that the previous chakras (which we already covered) are responsible for feeding energy to the top of the chain. So don't neglect the previous chakras because every piece of the chain contributes to its unified strength.

The Third Eye Chakra:

The Third Eye Chakra (aka. known as the Brow Chakra) is associated with the pineal gland and located roughly between the eyebrows.

It is represented by the color white or dark blue and is the center of spiritual and metaphysical development. The pineal gland is light sensitive and regulates sleep and awakening. The Third Eye is responsible for ESP, higher intuition, spiritual contact, psychic powers, telepathy, astral projection, and past life regression. Stimulating the Third Eye is an important aspect of remote viewing and almost all other metaphysical challenges as it is the gateway to the spiritual world.

When you direct energy through the Throat Chakra it should make its way to the Third Eye Chakra causing it to spin faster while growing. You should focus on feeling and visualizing a white energy spiral when simulating your Third Eye. When your third eye is open, you will be engulfed in feelings of ecstasy as you learn to trust your inner guidance and open up access to intuitions and spiritual growth.

The Crown Chakra:

The Crown Chakra is the center of your consciousness. It connects to the central nervous system and is represented by the color violet. This is the Chakra that guides us as spiritual beings and sanctions all things that are good. The Crown Chakra is located in the crown of the head and covers the entire top portion of the head. It is said to be your seventh sense as cosmic energy is sensed through your Crown Chakra.

As the basis of consciousness, this chakra is responsible for your inner wisdom, release of karma, and will ultimately lead to universal consciousness and unity. Once your chakra system passes energy to your Crown Chakra, the energy can then ascend to the heavens and interconnect with life energies all around the Universe.
